Living Space Construction extended this 1930’s chalet style home of about 1700 square feet to create additional living space for the family. The extension is designed and planned to create a feeling of light and space. It makes use of traditional materials, such as the hardwood floors, and modern technologies such as the energy efficient UPVC double glazing. The photographs show how the loft extension makes excellent use of the loft space for the bathroom. In addition to the high quality finish, we undertook the underpinning, construction of retaining walls, plumbing and electrical wiring. Now with 4 bathrooms, 5 reception rooms, and 5 double bedrooms, this stunning 4000 square foot house is a much admired modern home in Bournemouth.
